Great but not without issues!,
I bought this product for a dinner party and it worked well for about 20 minutes of cheesy goodness. We used a gel fuel, which is reusable and not messy, which is great, but unfortunately the flame went out when we tried to turn it down. This resulted in burnt cheese! It was easy to scrape off when cleaning but I was disappointed that the cheese burned in the first place. We tried turning down many times and every time it failed. I haven’t tried other types of fuel or tried tea lights so this might be the problem but it is still disappointing that not all fuels work very well. It is a good buy and it is easy to clean but make sure to check the fuel first and keep the temperature in check!
Putting out the flame is safe (unless you are like my friend who tried to blow it out…) as the set comes with a flame dampener.
I gave this a 3 star review because I think the control of the heat coming from the fuel is very important. I will comment if it works with another type of fuel.

I can’t say too much as this was a present but it came within a couple of days and looks as it should. I’ll have to wait and see how it works when I get invited round for some fondue. Can’t see any reason it won’t do all it should – the 3 stars is simply because I haven’t experienced it in use – no other reason. It may well deserve 5 stars but someone who buys and uses it themselves can tell you more.
